Thirty years of passion for chocolate
The Salon du Chocolat was born in 1995 in Paris, created by François Jeantet and Sylvie Douce, two enthusiasts who dreamed of an event entirely dedicated to chocolate. From its very first edition, the show established itself as the global meeting point for cocoa lovers, bringing together chocolate artisans, major brands, and cocoa producers in one place. Today organized by Comexposium, the show has expanded to over thirty cities worldwide—from Tokyo to New York, from Brussels to Dubai—while keeping Paris as its undisputed capital.
Porte de Versailles, a temple of chocolate
Every autumn, Hall 5 of the Parc des Expositions de la Porte de Versailles (15th arrondissement) transforms into a vast temple dedicated to chocolate. More than five hundred participants—artisanal chocolatiers, Michelin-starred pastry chefs, master confectioners, cocoa growers from around the world, and major international brands—set up their stands for five days of tastings, demonstrations, and discoveries. The aisles are organized around thematic villages: plantation chocolate, bean-to-bar, pastry, confectionery, and an international space.
The chocolate musical show
A highlight of each edition, the musical show (heir to the famous chocolate dress fashion show) features spectacular creations blending fashion, art, and chocolate. Dresses, costumes, and accessories entirely made of chocolate by artisans are presented in a staged show combining live music, dance, and projections. This unique show symbolizes the artistic and creative dimension of the event.
2025 Edition: The 30th Anniversary

For this jubilee, the show offered an exceptional program with 240 exhibitors, live demonstrations by the world's greatest chocolatiers and pastry chefs, the chocolate musical show, tasting workshops, and a renewed discovery area. The edition welcomed 96,000 visitors.
