For 22 years, the Fête des Plantes d'Apremont-sur-Allier has welcomed garden and plant enthusiasts on the third weekend of May. The event takes place at the Parc Floral d'Apremont, a 4-hectare landscaped garden located on the banks of the Allier, within the enchanting setting of the medieval village of Apremont-sur-Allier, listed among the Most Beautiful Villages of France.
The festival brings together over 60 stands of nurserymen and producers from all over France. They present a wide variety of plants: perennials, bulbs, trees, roses, rare plants, cacti, Mediterranean plants, aromatic herbs, and botanical collections. It's a unique opportunity to meet passionate professionals, get cultivation advice, and discover rare or new varieties.
The Parc Floral d'Apremont is a landscaped garden created in the 1970s by Gilles de Brissac. This English-style park harmoniously blends centuries-old trees, perennial beds, waterfalls, and streams. The park offers breathtaking views of the Allier river and the medieval village. The Fête des Plantes takes place along the banks of the Allier, in an exceptional natural setting.
