In 2026, the festivities will take place on Monday, July 13th, starting on the esplanade of the Hôtel de Ville and continuing along the riverbanks. 2026 National Day in Puteaux
Puteaux celebrates the 2026 National Day on Monday, July 13th. According to the city's official program: doors open to the public at 7:00 PM on the Town Hall esplanade (featuring music and a picnic area), followed by an official ceremony at 7:30 PM (speeches, the Marseillaise, and water jets set to Vivaldi's Four Seasons). Enjoy a traditional guinguette atmosphere from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM, a tricolor water show and flag distribution at 9:45 PM, a torchlight parade at 10:00 PM heading toward the Quai Dion-Bouton, and finally, a fireworks display at 11:00 PM launched from the banks of the Seine. Every summer, the town of Puteaux, located at the edge of La Défense, celebrates the Fête Nationale on the esplanade of the Hôtel de Ville and along the banks of the Seine. This free, family-oriented event combines a traditional republican ceremony with entertainment, performances, and a grand fireworks display, all set against the backdrop of Europe's leading business district.
The 2026 Program (Monday, July 13th)
According to the schedule released by the town, the evening of July 13, 2026, will unfold as follows:
- 7:00 PM: Doors open to the public on the Hôtel de Ville esplanade, featuring music and a picnic area.
- 7:30 PM: Official ceremony — speeches, the Marseillaise, a water fountain show set to Vivaldi's Four Seasons, and a toast.
