The patronal festival of Juvigny-sous-Andaine
The Saint-Michel Festival is the patronal festival of Juvigny-sous-Andaine, a delegated commune of Juvigny-Val-d'Andaine in the Orne department, just a few kilometers from Bagnoles-de-l'Orne. It takes place every year in September over two days, from Saturday to Sunday, and is organized by the Juvigny-sous-Andaine festival and events committee.
Saturday
The afternoon is dedicated to a pétanque tournament, played in teams of two and open to everyone. In 2026, the day concludes with a dance party featuring a DJ from 7:00 PM to midnight, with fast food available on-site.
Sunday
The flea market (vide-grenier) takes place on the football field next to the village hall, alongside a gathering of vintage vehicles and tractors. At Place Saint-Michel, you will find fairground rides, bumper cars, and wooden games. A Breton band will provide entertainment throughout the village streets. The 2026 edition also includes a poultry exhibition.
The "petite oie"
Throughout the two days, the restaurants Le Bon Accueil and La Maison d'Andaine serve the "petite oie," a traditional festival dish. The Landemaine butcher shop also offers it for takeaway.
