A punk and ska festival in Rennes

Fiesta à la Mass was organized by Mass Prod (Mass Productions), a Rennes-based label and collective historically linked to the punk, ska, and alternative scene. The festival took place at Parc de la Prévalaye, an open-air space on the outskirts of Rennes, and featured a lineup focused on punk, ska, hardcore, and rock music.

An alternative and international lineup

Over its editions, the festival welcomed bands from several countries, in the DIY and committed spirit characteristic of the punk-ska scene. The 3rd edition, on September 23rd and 24th, 2016, at Parc de la Prévalaye, was the last publicly documented one.

The end of an adventure

After the September 2016 edition, no public trace of a new edition of Fiesta à la Mass could be found: the event appears to have been discontinued since. Mass Prod, however, has remained active on the Rennes music scene through other activities.
