Every June 21st, Châtenay-Malabry joins the celebrations of the Fête de la Musique, established in France since 1982 by the Ministry of Culture. In this town in the Hauts-de-Seine department with nearly 33,000 inhabitants, nestled in the heart of a green triangle between the Domaine de la Vallée-aux-Loups, the Parc de Sceaux, and the forest of Verrières, June 21st takes on a special color each year, combining outdoor music and festive entertainment.
