About Foire de Sartène
Established in 2025, the Autumn Fair brings together Corsican artisans and producers in the heart of Sartène (Corse-du-Sud) under the name Festa in Sartè. Stalls and children's games take over the Place Porta, while spit-roasted veal and competitions are hosted on the Cours Sœur Amélie; on Saturday evening, a dance is held in the courtyard of the Marfisi gymnasium. The inaugural edition took place on October 25th and 26th, 2025; as of mid-August 2026, no dates have been announced for the next event.

The 2025 poster only mentions one price: €10 for entry to the Saturday night grand dance. No admission fee is listed for the fair itself.

A fair born in 2025
The official poster bears the label "1st edition": the Sartène Autumn Fair began in October 2025 as part of the Festa in Sartè. The first dates were Saturday, October 25th, and Sunday, October 26th, 2025, right in the town center.
The 2025 inaugural program
On the Place Porta, stalls selling and showcasing local products open at 10:00 am; at 10:30 am, the carousel, bouncy castles, and duck fishing game arrive. The Cours Sœur Amélie takes over at noon with spit-roasted veal, followed by sack races at 2:00 pm, the best Halloween costume contest at 3:00 pm (for children up to 8 years old on Saturday, and 8 to 13 years old on Sunday), and a free snack for all children at 4:00 pm. On Saturday evening, the Marfisi gymnasium courtyard hosts an aperitif and spit-roasted veal with Gabi at 7:00 pm, followed by the grand dance with Millishake starting at 10:00 pm.
Status of the 2026 edition
No dates, program, or call for exhibitors have been published for a second edition. The calendar of the Sartenais Valinco Taravo tourist office, which promotes events in Sartène, does not list any fair in the town for October 2026.
