The culinary and solidarity event of Haguenau
Organized by the Lions Club of Haguenau since 2019, the Food Truck Festival brings together around forty food trucks each spring around the Halle aux Houblons. Cuisines from all over the world — Alsatian, Breton, South American, African, Canadian specialties — mingle in a festive atmosphere with live concerts. Admission is at a modest price and the profits are fully donated to hospitalized children or those with disabilities.
Since its creation in 2019, the Haguenau Food Truck Festival has established itself as an unmissable gourmet event in northern Alsace. The event is supported by the Lions Club of Haguenau in partnership with Éphémère Organisation (the Cado brothers) and the association Alkymi. Its mission is twofold: to offer a culinary journey to visitors and to support solidarity causes for the benefit of hospitalized children or those in difficulty.
Set up around the majestic Halle aux Houblons and the Salle des Corporations, around forty food trucks offer a true gastronomic world tour. From Alsatian specialties to South American flavors, including African, Canadian, Asian, and Breton cuisine, each stand invites discovery. Sweet treat lovers are not left out with stands offering artisanal candies and pastries.
The Food Truck Festival is not just about tasting. Throughout the weekend, live concerts with various musical styles — rock, jazz, world — liven up the square. Dance troupes, magicians, and entertainment specifically designed for children (Alsatian nursery rhymes, magic shows) complete the program. The atmosphere is resolutely family-friendly and convivial, under the foliage of the historic center of Haguenau.
What sets the Food Truck Festival apart is its solidarity commitment. All profits are donated to associations working for children. More than 800 volunteers from local associations participate in the organization, making this event a tremendous surge of solidarity that unites the Haguenau community.
The 6th edition of the Food Truck Festival will be held on April 18 and 19, 2026, at the Halle aux Houblons and Salle des Corporations in Haguenau, featuring around forty food trucks and a program of solidarity events.
