Friendly and family music festival with free entry at Bas-en-Basset
The Go Ba's Festival was born in 2013 on the initiative of “Go les Jeun's”, a junior association created by young people aged 14 to 20, driven by the desire to bring their region to life through music and conviviality. Initially modest, the festival has grown over the years to become a must-attend event at the end of summer in Haute-Loire, guided by values of sharing, openness, solidarity, and conviviality.
Behind the Go Ba's Festival is the Collectif Go Ba's, which brings together four associative structures: the association Go les Jeun's (formed as a 'loi 1901' association in February 2018), N.A.B.A.B, the social center Adéquat, and the Comité des Fêtes de Bourbon. Over one hundred volunteers, aged 13 to 85, work year-round to organize and grow this event.
Each edition of the Go Ba's Festival offers a varied musical program, mixing French chanson, rock, pop, rap, reggae, punk, electro, and variety music. The festival showcases local amateur artists, rising professional bands, and confirmed headliners. Over the years, Go Ba's has hosted artists such as Manau, 2TH, Trois Cafés Gourmands, Fredz, AC/DÇU, M'Dezoen, and Faut qu'ça guinche, offering a broad and festive panorama of the French music scene.
True to its values of accessibility, the Go Ba's Festival operates on a free entry basis: each festival-goer gives what they wish at the entrance. This unique approach allows everyone, families, young and old, to enjoy a quality musical event without financial barriers. The festival is above all a family festival where even the youngest children are welcome to dance and have fun.
The festival offers a Go Ba's Kids day dedicated to the youngest, with activities, workshops, games, and a show followed by a suitable concert. This children's program, usually organized on the Thursday preceding the main weekend, reinforces the family dimension of the event and allows the little ones to have their first festival experience.
On the festival site, food stalls offer savory and sweet crepes, sandwiches, fries, and other treats. A token system (purchased at the exchange booth) is used for payments, with reimbursement for unused tokens. Free camping is available for festival-goers in the immediate vicinity of the concert area, allowing them to fully enjoy the weekend without worrying about transportation.
The Go Ba's Festival returns for its 10th edition from August 20 to 22, 2026, in Bas-en-Basset. A significant anniversary for this festival born in 2013 from the energy of a group of young volunteers, which has become a must-attend event at the end of summer in Haute-Loire over a decade.
For this anniversary edition, the Collectif Go Ba's promises a lineup worthy of the event, featuring, as always, a mix of local artists, rising bands, and confirmed headliners. The festival remains true to its founding values: free entry, a family atmosphere, free camping, and the conviviality that has been its signature since its inception.
The full lineup will be announced progressively on the festival's official website and social media. As every year, festival-goers can enjoy free on-site camping, food stalls, and a bar with a token system.
The festival takes place outdoors in Bas-en-Basset, 43210, in Haute-Loire, in a green and friendly setting.
The Go Ba's Festival takes place every year on the last weekend of August, generally from Thursday (kids' day) to Saturday evening. Gates open at 7:00 PM on concert nights.
On-site food stalls: savory and sweet crepes, sandwiches, fries. Bar with a token system (purchase at the exchange booth, reimbursement of unused tokens). Picnics are not allowed on the site.
Free camping is available for festival-goers in the immediate vicinity of the concert area. Area reserved for campers right next to the concert zone.
