Granville Fête le Nautisme: immersion in the maritime world

Granville Fête le Nautisme was born from a desire to renew and expand the traditional Granville Nautical Flea Market. Organized by the Association des Plaisanciers de Hérel (APH) in partnership with the SPL des Ports de la Manche, the city of Granville, and the Department of Manche, this three-day event in June transforms the port of Hérel into a vast nautical village open to all sea lovers.

A land and sea event

The originality of Granville Fête le Nautisme lies in its program, which unfolds both on land and on water. On the Promenade Docteur Lavat, an exhibition space hosts equipment manufacturers, engine suppliers, and nautical professionals. In the 'visitor' basin, boats are exhibited and available for sea trials. Visitors can discover the latest innovations while enjoying the exceptional setting of the port of Hérel and the bay of Granville.

Nautical flea markets and great deals

The nautical flea markets and boat jumbles remain at the heart of the event. Individuals and professionals offer for sale rigging, navigation equipment, marine clothing, models, and everything related to the nautical world. It's the ideal opportunity to find great deals and connect with sea and navigation enthusiasts.

Conferences, workshops, and entertainment

The program also includes conferences and debates on maritime themes, practical workshops, and musical entertainment with local bands like Coeff Jazz, Strand Hug, and Irish Spirit. The 2025 edition, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the port of Hérel, was the occasion for a particularly festive event. Access is free and open, attracting between 12,000 and 13,000 visitors over the three days.
