The major musical and solidarity event at the gates of Mont-Saint-Michel bay
The Green River Valley Festival is the major musical and solidarity event of the Manche region, organized every June at the Ferme des Cara-Meuh in Vains, at the gates of the Mont-Saint-Michel bay. Created in 2019 by a group of Norman friends driven by ethical, solidarity, and ecological values, the festival offers two days of concerts on three stages, a free community village with an artisan market, a food court, and various activities. Reggae, dub, hip-hop, world music, and electro blend in an exceptional rural setting.
Created in 2019 by a group of Norman friends sharing values of solidarity, ethics, and ecology, the Green River Valley Festival has quickly established itself as the major musical and committed event in the Manche region. Located at the Ferme des Cara-Meuh in Vains, at the gates of the Mont-Saint-Michel bay, the festival benefits from an exceptional natural setting.
Over two days, the festival unfolds across three stages with distinct identities. The Main Stage hosts headliners in various genres: reggae, dub, hip-hop, world music, and electro. The Dub Tent, with its sound system, immerses festival-goers in the deep bass of dub and dancehall. The Acoustic Stage, located in the free village, offers intimate acoustic concerts.
The heart of the festival beats in its free village, accessible without a ticket. Here you'll find an artisan market and local producers, a food court with food trucks and local products, activities for children, conferences, and stands from associations. The founders' scout spirit is reflected in the attention paid to living together and welcoming all audiences.
The Green River Valley Festival is part of an eco-responsible approach supported by Label Plante, the founding association structure. The festival collaborates with local producers, favors short supply chains, and raises festival-goers' awareness of environmental issues through conferences and themed activities. In 2026, the theme is "Men and women of the earth".
The 6th edition of the Green River Valley Festival will be held on June 19 and 20, 2026, at the Ferme des Cara-Meuh in Vains. The theme "Men and women of the earth" will guide this edition with concerts, a free village, and solidarity activities.
