About Heinz Fest

Heinz Fest is a friendly and family-oriented festival organized every summer in Maisoncelles-du-Maine by the association Filer Ô Soleil. Born from a private initiative bringing together about forty friends, the event has grown over the editions to welcome up to 800 participants. Since 2024, the festival has been open to the general public and offers a weekend of concerts and quirky activities on the Far West theme — barrel toss, lasso, brass bands, karaoke — in a rustic and good-natured spirit.

Heinz Fest: The Far West Spirit in the Mayenne Countryside

Heinz Fest was born in 2019 from a simple idea: to bring together about forty friends for a festive weekend in the countryside, between Entrammes and Maisoncelles-du-Maine. Driven by Enzo (whose nickname inspired the festival's name) and his loved ones, the event quickly grew, going from 40 to 800 participants in just a few editions.

From Private Party to Public Festival

For five editions, Heinz Fest remained a private event, reserved for friends and their acquaintances. In 2023, the creation of the association Filer Ô Soleil, chaired by Antonin Geslot, marked a turning point: the festival is now open to the general public, while retaining the friendly and quirky spirit that defines its identity.

A Weekend Dedicated to the Far West

Each edition of Heinz Fest adopts a festive theme. The 2025 edition chose the Far West as its guiding theme, inviting festival-goers to immerse themselves in a rustic western atmosphere. On the program:

  • Concerts: Several musical groups will perform on stage throughout the weekend
  • Quirky Activities: Barrel toss, lasso competition, ring toss game, human centipede race
  • Brass Bands: Roaming brass bands to liven up the festival grounds
  • Karaoke and Costume Contests: Participatory events open to all

A Family-Friendly and Convivial Festival

Heinz Fest aims above all to be a moment of sharing and conviviality. The rustic atmosphere, the human scale of the event, and the variety of activities make it accessible to all generations. The festival emphasizes good humor and lightheartedness, far from large, standardized events.

An Assured Rural Connection

Located in the heart of the Mayenne countryside, between the towns of Entrammes and Maisoncelles-du-Maine, Heinz Fest claims its rural roots. The Filer Ô Soleil association promotes a festive project that revitalizes the territory and brings together the inhabitants of the Pays de Meslay-Grez community of communes around a unifying event.
