The Henrichemont Gourmet and Artisanal Market is a summer gathering that celebrates the riches of the Berry region and local artisanal know-how. Organized on the magnificent Place Henri IV, this traditional market attracts producers, artisans, and visitors in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
Visitors can discover a wide variety of local products: farm cheeses, artisanal charcuterie, honey, jams, local wines, organic vegetables, and other gastronomic specialties from the Centre-Val de Loire region. Producers are present to interact with the public and share their working methods.
The market also hosts artisans who present their creations: ceramics (linked to the proximity of La Borne), wooden objects, textiles, jewelry, and other artisanal creations. It's the ideal opportunity to find unique and authentic products.
Henrichemont, a fortified town built in the 17th century with its characteristic central square, offers a remarkable architectural setting for this event. The gourmet market is part of the tradition of weekly markets that animate the town every Saturday morning.
Musical ambiance, on-site tastings, and entertainment generally punctuate this day dedicated to gustatory pleasures and the discovery of local crafts.
Outside of the gourmet markets, Henrichemont hosts a weekly market every Saturday morning (8 AM - 1 PM) on Place Henri IV.
