Summer festival with live music, wine tasting and craft market in Ingersheim
The Ingersheim Summer Festival was born from the desire of the Groupement des Sociétés d'Ingersheim to unite the village's associations and businesses around a friendly summer event. Ingersheim, a wine-growing commune located at the gates of Colmar on the Alsace Wine Route, offers an ideal setting for this gathering that combines music, gastronomy, and local discovery. The festival takes place at the Cave Jean Geiler, a historic wine cooperative founded in 1926 by sixteen winegrowers, now bringing together nearly 175 winegrowers cultivating 390 hectares of vineyards, including ten Grands Crus.
The heart of the Ingersheim Summer Festival beats to the rhythm of live music. Each evening is hosted by regional bands and artists offering diverse performances — rock, popular music, folk — in a relaxed and warm atmosphere. The stage, set up within the cooperative winery, benefits from natural acoustics and an authentic setting, amidst vats and vineyards. The atmosphere builds throughout the evening, inviting young and old to dance under the stars.
The Cave Jean Geiler opens its doors for Alsace wine tastings at affordable prices. Visitors can discover the cooperative's emblematic vintages: Riesling, Gewurztraminer, Pinot Gris, Crémant d'Alsace, and wines from the prestigious Grands Crus of the Colmar terroir. For food, volunteers prepare wood-fired tarte flambées, grilled sausages, fries, and homemade desserts on-site, in the purest tradition of Alsatian village festivals.
From the afternoon onwards, a market of local producers and artisans sets up around the cellar, offering handmade creations, Alsatian local products, and regional specialties. This market allows visitors to discover the craftsmanship of artisans from Ingersheim and the surrounding area, while strolling among the stalls in a village fair atmosphere. Children can enjoy suitable family entertainment: games, creative workshops, and inflatable structures liven up the afternoon.
The Ingersheim Summer Festival embodies the authentic Alsatian village spirit: the pleasure of gathering with neighbors, friends, and families to share a moment of celebration around wine and music. Far from large commercial festivals, this human-sized event focuses on friendliness, the quality of local products, and social connection. The Groupement des Sociétés d'Ingersheim mobilizes village associations to offer a warm welcome and meticulous organization, making each edition a popular success.
The Ingersheim Summer Festival 2026 will take place in August at the Cave Jean Geiler, 45 rue de la République. The Groupement des Sociétés d'Ingersheim will offer a new edition of this summer festival combining live concerts, Alsace wine tasting, and local gastronomy in a warm village atmosphere. The detailed program will be announced during the summer.
