Jazz sur un Plateau

A traveling festival in the heart of Southern Ardèche

Since 2007, the Jazz sur un Plateau festival has crisscrossed the villages of Southern Ardèche around Larnas and the communes of the DRAGA intercommunal structure: Bidon, Saint-Montan, Saint-Martin-d'Ardèche, Saint-Just-d'Ardèche, Bourg-Saint-Andéol, Viviers, and Saint-Remèze. Supported by ADCL (Association for the Cultural Development of Larnas), this traveling festival offers about ten days of open-air concerts in unique and historic locations.

Jazz, soul, blues, and funk under the stars

The programming of Jazz sur un Plateau covers a wide musical spectrum: jazz, soul, blues, funk, and mixed music. The 2025 edition (the 19th) hosted artists such as Brooklyn Funk Essentials, LMZG, Les Frères Smith, Lady Soul Project, Soulstice, Minuit 10, Suave Quartet, Memry Box, Barbara Deschamps, Nash, Tausala, and Jo Harpo.

Ardèche villages on stage

Each concert takes place in a different location: village squares, castle courtyards, church parvises, or shaded terraces, offering a unique and intimate setting for each evening. The festival contributes to the cultural animation of the territory and promotes the architectural and natural heritage of Southern Ardèche, between the Ardèche Gorges and charming villages.

An accessible and friendly festival

Jazz sur un Plateau offers free concerts and paid concerts (from €12 to €27), with weekend and festival passes available. Admission is free for children under 12. On-site refreshments and food complete the experience in a warm and festive atmosphere, true to the spirit of Southern Ardèche.
