Oh Pétard Festival
Nature sports, contemporary music, and local produce in Buis-les-Baronnies
2026
About Oh Pétard Festival
The Oh Pétard Festival is an original and intergenerational event that enlivens Buis-les-Baronnies, in the Drôme provençale, around three themes: the emblematic nature sports of the Baronnies (mountain biking and urban downhill, climbing and bouldering, trial), contemporary and electronic music, and local gastronomy and agriculture. All in a festive, fun, and quirky atmosphere — « good food, good ride, good music ».
Oh Pétard Festival — edition 2026
The Oh Pétard Festival returns to Buis-les-Baronnies from September 25th to 27th, 2026, for its 2nd edition. On the agenda: urban downhill mountain biking and bouldering contests through the village alleys, a Saturday night concert at La Palun featuring Fantaz, Sumac Dub, and Kabylie Minogue, the Tracto'sono parade by Hans le Balourd, and a new Sunday program at Les Tuves.
2026 Edition
The second edition takes place from Friday, September 25th to Sunday, September 27th, 2026, in the village of Buis-les-Baronnies and at Les Tuves. The organizers have announced a new urban DH course, blending nature and urban elements, with a higher starting point and custom-built obstacles, as well as new urban bouldering sectors.
The 2026 highlight is the Sunday at Les Tuves: a balance bike race for 2-4 year olds, a free ride zone at the skatepark, graffiti demonstrations, pétanque, a tractor-themed bingo, and two DJ sets.
The two sporting events take place on Saturday, September 26th, and require prior registration via HelloAsso. The evening concert at the La Palun village hall costs €15, while most daytime activities are free.

A festival of sports, music, and local culture in the Baronnies
Founded in 2025 by a group of friends from Buis, the Oh Pétard Festival brings the Baronnies region to life through three core pillars: local agriculture and gastronomy, outdoor sports, and contemporary music. Their motto says it all: "good food, good ride, good music."
The village itself becomes the playground. The downhill mountain bike race tears through narrow streets and staircases, the climbing contest takes over public facades, DJ sets fill the squares, and the festival canteen is run by volunteers serving local produce: Baronnies lamb, olives, pistou soup, and Mollans beans.
The 2nd edition runs from September 25th to 27th, 2026, with an extra day added on Sunday at Les Tuves, the village's outdoor recreation area.
