Edition 2026 — Journées Gastronomiques

The 2026 edition of the Journées Gastronomiques de Sologne will be held on Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25, 2026 at the Fabrique Normant (Hennebique Hall) in Romorantin-Lanthenay. On the program: about fifteen national and international culinary competitions, demonstrations by great chefs and Meilleurs Ouvriers de France, and approximately 90 producers and artisans gathered for two days of tastings and gourmet discoveries.

2026 Edition — October 24 & 25

For its autumn event, the fair brings together approximately 90 producers and artisans from all over France on October 24 and 25, 2026, around a packed program of culinary competitions and demonstrations open to the public.

Culinary Competitions

The 2026 program gives pride of place to events held in front of the public and artistic presentations, on the theme «Games and Toys» for sugar, chocolate, and bakery pieces:

  • La Carpe à la Chambord — new competition proposed by the Académie Nationale de Cuisine
  • World Championship of Lièvre à la Royale
  • Trophée des arts boulangers and Trophée James Corbeau (bakery piece)
  • Trophée Jean-Claude Léchaudé (chocolate)
  • Butchery competition (apprentices)
  • Artistic presentations: sugar piece and chocolate piece (theme «Games and Toys»)

Several amateur and intergenerational competitions complete the program: nursery schools and leisure centers, young people aged 13-18 (theme «the orange»), intergenerational competition for 10-12 year olds, and Amateur Duo competition (adults).
