Discovering Nature in Périgord-Limousin
The La Chevêche Festival, organized by the CPIE of Périgord-Limousin, is a place for meetings, exchanges, and debates between associations, researchers, and the general public, both novices and initiated. Its objective: to inspire people to discover the nature around us and to commit to its preservation.
A New Theme Each Year
Each edition focuses on a specific theme: agriculture and food in 2024, environmental health in 2025. This thematic approach allows for an in-depth exploration of current ecological issues from various accessible angles.
A Rich and Family-Friendly Program
The festival unfolds in two parts: the Chevêche Meetings, activities spread across Périgord-Limousin-Angoumois in the weeks preceding the event, followed by the main weekend in Nontron with conferences, forums, nature outings, exhibitions, film screenings, creative workshops, and activities for all ages.

14th Edition of the La Chevêche Festival 2026
The La Chevêche Festival will return for its 14th edition in March 2026 in Nontron. The theme and program will be announced on the website of the CPIE of Périgord-Limousin.

- By car: RN21 from Périgueux (approx. 50 km) or D675 from Angoulême.
