The meeting place for wine and local product lovers at Espace Mayenne
Since its creation, the Laval Wine and Local Products Fair has established itself as the essential meeting point for wine and gastronomy lovers in Mayenne. Organized by the Kiwanis Club of Laval, a service association founded in 1980, this event combines taste pleasure and solidarity commitment: all profits are donated to actions for disadvantaged children in the department.
Each edition of the fair brings together a rigorous selection of exhibitors in the vast spaces of the Espace Mayenne:
Exhibitors are selected by the Kiwanis Club volunteers for the quality of their products and their passion for their craft, guaranteeing visitors exceptional tastings.
The fair offers a unique opportunity to taste products directly from producers, discuss terroirs, grape varieties, and winemaking methods. It's a chance to discover hidden gems, build your personal wine cellar, and benefit from fair prices for direct purchases.
The Espace Mayenne, located at rue Joséphine Baker in Laval, offers a modern and spacious setting for the event. Wide aisles allow for pleasant strolling between stands, and the warm atmosphere encourages exchanges between enthusiasts.
The Wine Fair is above all a solidarity project driven by the volunteers of the Kiwanis Club of Laval. The association, whose motto is "Serve the children of the world," donates all profits from the event to charitable actions for disadvantaged children in the Mayenne region. Participating in the fair also means contributing to this noble cause.
With approximately 4,000 visitors each year and a growing number of exhibitors, the Laval Wine and Local Products Fair confirms its attractiveness. The 25th edition in 2026 marks a quarter-century of existence, demonstrating the public's loyalty and the event's sustainability.
The 25th edition of the Laval Wine and Local Products Fair was held from Friday, May 1st to Sunday, May 3rd, 2026, at Espace Mayenne, organized by the Kiwanis Club of Laval. This anniversary edition brought together more than 80 exhibitors — approximately 60 winemakers from all French wine regions and twenty local producers — for the benefit of actions in favor of sick, disabled, or disadvantaged children in Mayenne.
From Friday, May 1st to Sunday, May 3rd, 2026, Espace Mayenne in Laval hosted the 25th edition of the Wine and Local Products Fair, a gastronomic and oenological event organized by the volunteers of the Kiwanis Club of Laval. A quarter-century of public, winemaker, and producer loyalty united around a shared commitment to solidarity in favor of children.
This anniversary edition brought together about sixty winemakers representing all major French wine regions (Bordeaux, Burgundy, Beaujolais, Loire, Champagne, Alsace, Rhône Valley, Provence, Languedoc-Roussillon, South-West) and twenty local producers: foie gras, honeys, goat cheeses, oysters and seafood, Iberian cured meats, Agen prunes and derivatives, artisanal biscuits, spirits (cognac, pineau, rum, whisky, gin) and Breton beers. Exhibitors are chosen each year by Kiwanis volunteers for the quality of their products and their passion for their craft.
As every year, a free drive-through service was offered: visitors dropped off their purchases at a dedicated counter and then picked them up by car at a loading zone, without having to carry their boxes all day. Food and snack stands also allowed visitors to extend their stay on site.
Since its creation, the Wine Fair has been the flagship operation of the Kiwanis Club of Laval (a co-educational club founded in 1980, 26 members). With its other annual event, the Christmas Market, it generates approximately €30,000 donated each year to about twenty Mayenne associations that support sick, disabled, or precarious children (support for autism, adapted equipment, medico-social structures, Handi Cheval, Vaincre la Mucoviscidose, etc.).
