Le BeauFFestival: The Gathering of the Assured "Beaufs"

Created in 2023 in Poitiers, Le BeauFFestival quickly established itself as one of the most original and offbeat festivals in France. Its concept? To celebrate "beaufitude" with humor and a second degree – a popular culture often mocked but here fully embraced and claimed. Because as the organizers remind us, "we are all someone's 'beauf'."

A Unique Concept in France

Le BeauFFestival doesn't just offer concerts: it's a true immersion into a kitsch and uninhibited universe. A village of about ten stalls hosts creators of kitsch products, mullet specialists, temporary tattoo artists, and many other curiosities. Entertainment punctuates the weekend with contests as improbable as they are memorable: cardboard tuning contests, best fair vendor, best "broyé du Poitou" topping, or best "beauf" outfit contest.

An Eclectic Musical Lineup

The lineup mixes alternative rock, popular songs, cumbia, variety acts, and DJ sets in a festive and wild atmosphere. The 2024 edition notably featured Les Wampas, Manau, Marcel et son Orchestre, Oldelaf, Les Sales Majestés, Sebastien Patoche, Les Hommes Dauphins, and Cumbia Boom Box. The first edition in 2023 showcased La Compagnie Créole, Didier Super, and Elmer Food Beat.

Espace Republic Corner, an Industrial Gem

The festival takes place at the Espace Republic Corner, a concert hall and hybrid venue located in the heart of Poitiers, on rue des Bonnetiers. This versatile space, accustomed to hosting events of all sizes, offers a setting perfectly suited to the friendly and relaxed spirit of Le BeauFFestival. Free parking is available for festival-goers arriving by car.

Fulgurating Success

In just two editions, Le BeauFFestival has managed to unite a community of "self-proclaimed beaufs" from all over France. Word-of-mouth and the festival's unique concept have led to rapid growth, making this Poitiers event a must-attend autumn event in the Vienne region.
