2027
About Takes America by Storm
Narvalo's à l'Assaut de l'Amérique is an American-themed festival organized by the Narvalo's Bikers association in the Indre-et-Loire region. It recreates the atmosphere of the United States from the 1950s to the 1970s, featuring rock, rockabilly, country, and blues concerts, motorcycle and American car runs, a US military camp, a Native American village, and country dancing. The organizers promote it as the largest free American festival in France.
Originally launched in Luynes as "Luynes à l'Assaut de l'Amérique," it was held there until 2026 (the 11th edition), attracting between 40,000 and 50,000 visitors annually according to the press. Starting in 2027, the association is moving the event to Langeais and has dropped the town's name from the title.

An American festival in Luynes, then Langeais
The Narvalo's Bikers have been organizing their American festival since 2016. Originally titled "Luynes à l'Assaut de l'Amérique," it was hosted at the Parc des Varennes in Luynes until the 11th edition in 2026. On August 30, 2026, the association announced on social media that it would be moving to Langeais, west of Luynes, starting in 2027. Organizer Nicolas Georget explained that they wanted to keep the experience fresh after having "exhausted the possibilities of the Parc des Varennes" and that the idea of a new challenge had been brewing for several years. The town's name has been removed from the title: "Perhaps it was a mistake to include the city's name," he noted, mentioning that other towns had reached out to the association.
Annual Program
- Free concerts featuring rock, rockabilly, country, and blues: 25 in 2026, plus an open stage for young bands by registration.
- Sunday morning runs: motorcycle rides on one side, and American cars and 4x4s on the other, escorted by the police, no registration required.
- US military camp, historical reenactments ranging from the Civil War to World War II, and a Native American village.
- Country dancing with Country Dance Animation.
- Mini funfair, a village of exhibitors focused on American culture, and food trucks.
- On-site camping: approximately 1,000 people stay on the grounds during the four-day event.
The association's spirit
The festival relies on 200 volunteers. The equipment is owned by the association, and profits are reinvested to make the volunteers' work easier, for example by purchasing containers to avoid the need to set up large marquees. "I don't want a business-driven festival," summarizes Nicolas Georget (37° degrés, September 8, 2026).
2027 in Langeais
The dates announced for 2027 are September 10, 11, and 12, spanning three days. According to the organizer, Langeais is easily accessible from the motorway exit or by train via the local SNCF station, and the site will allow the festival to expand while maintaining a human scale. The exact location and program have not yet been released.
The association also organized the festival in Sainte-Foy, Vendée, from July 10 to 12, 2026 (narvalosbikers.com).
