Exhibition of arts and crafts from Dole
Les Artisanales is an exhibition dedicated to artisans and crafts organized annually in Dole, in the Jura region. Supported by the Association for the Promotion of Arts and Crafts (APMAA), the event brings together about sixty exhibitors at the Manège de Brack: upholsterers, luthiers, potters, ceramists, master glassmakers, textile designers, painters, and many others. For four days, the public can discover skill demonstrations, participate in creative workshops, and acquire unique pieces. In parallel, about twenty Dole artisans open their workshops in town, offering a tour to discover local talents.
Organized every spring in Dole, in the heart of the Jura region, Les Artisanales is a must-attend event for lovers of arts and crafts and know-how. This event, supported by the Association for the Promotion of Arts and Crafts (APMAA), has grown over the years to become one of the cultural highlights of the town of Pasteur.
The exhibition is held at the Manège de Brack, a heritage site located in the heart of Dole, Place Frédéric Barberousse. This historic venue offers a prestigious and welcoming setting to host exhibitors and the public. The exhibition was moved to this location after the Chapelle des Carmélites, the former venue, became too small due to the event's growing success.
Each edition brings together approximately 60 artisans and craft professionals, carefully selected for the quality and originality of their work. Visitors can discover a wide variety of disciplines:
Beyond the exhibition and sale, Les Artisanales offers live demonstrations of artisanal skills, allowing the public to understand the gestures and techniques of each craft. Participatory workshops are also organized to introduce manual arts to all ages. Artisans are available to interact with visitors, share their passion, and explain their creative process.
In addition to the exhibition, about twenty Dole artisans open their workshops to the public for several days. A guided tour is offered to explore the town and discover the work of local creators on-site: a unique way to immerse yourself in the heart of Dole's artisanal life.
Admission to Les Artisanales is free, reflecting a desire to make arts and crafts accessible to as many people as possible. The exhibition is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm and welcomes families, collectors, and industry professionals alike.
The new edition of Les Artisanales will be held at the end of March 2026 at the Manège de Brack in Dole. The exhibition will once again bring together about sixty artisans and craftspeople for four days of discovery, demonstrations, and workshops.
