Created by RPO, a show producer since 1984, Les Belles Soirées is a musical event taking place in the heart of the prestigious Théâtre Antique de Vienne. This new event celebrates the unique encounter between ancient heritage and live music, offering the public exceptional evenings in one of France's most beautiful Roman theatres.
The Théâtre Antique de Vienne, built in the 1st century AD, is one of the largest ancient theatres in Gaul. Nestled against the Pipet hill, it offers exceptional acoustics and a unique atmosphere where history meets contemporary creation. With a capacity of 7,500 seats, this listed monument is an ideal setting for large-scale international concerts.
Les Belles Soirées offers an eclectic and ambitious program, bringing together world-renowned artists in various genres: rock, pop, contemporary music, and many others. The first edition of Les Belles Soirées promises a prestigious concert: Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds will take over the Théâtre Antique de Vienne on Wednesday, July 15, 2026 at 8 PM. The legendary band, formed in 1983, has profoundly marked the global music scene with its unique blend of rock, punk, blues, and dark ballads.
This concert is part of the band's extensive summer European tour. Nick Cave will be accompanied by his musicians: Warren Ellis, Colin Greenwood, Jim Sclavunos, George Vjestica, Larry Mullins, and Carly Paradis, along with a support act yet to be announced.
This partnership between RPO, a show producer since 1984, and AEG Presents France, one of the world's largest promoters, guarantees an evening of very high artistic and organizational quality.

By car: Vienne is located 30 km south of Lyon, on the Lyon-Valence axis. From the A7 motorway, take the Vienne exit. Parking is available near the Théâtre Antique.
By train: Vienne station, accessible by TER from Lyon Part-Dieu in 20-25 minutes. The Théâtre Antique is about a 15-minute walk from the station.
