The free rock festival of the spa town in the Vosges
Created in 2014 in the famous spa town of Vittel, the Les Bouteilles Folles festival quickly established itself as a must-attend event for the rock scene in the Vosges. Every year in mid-August, the Parc Badenweiler is transformed into a vast open-air concert space where guitar riffs and electric melodies resonate.
The philosophy of Les Bouteilles Folles is based on a simple principle: to offer free access to quality concerts to as many people as possible. Without reservation or ticketing, the festival welcomes all music lovers in a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere. This bold choice of free access, made possible by the support of the City of Vittel and the production company Produc'son, brings together around 3,000 spectators each year in a spirit of sharing and discovery.
The recipe for Les Bouteilles Folles is well-established: each edition features two confirmed headliners from the French rock scene accompanied by two emerging bands, thus offering a good balance between renowned artists and new discoveries. Over the years, the festival has hosted iconic bands such as Les Fatals Picards, Elmer Food Beat, Ange, Daisy Driver, Bridge of Souls, and La Jarry, demonstrating an eclectic lineup that explores all facets of rock.
The festival takes place in the Parc Badenweiler, a green space located in the heart of Vittel, a stone's throw from the town center and the famous thermal baths. This tree-lined and spacious setting offers natural comfort to festival-goers, who enjoy the concerts in a bucolic atmosphere typical of the Plaine des Vosges. The accessibility of the site and the proximity of the spa resort's facilities make each edition a special moment.
Driven by the association Plaine Événement in collaboration with the municipality and local partners, Les Bouteilles Folles actively contributes to the cultural dynamism of Vittel and its region. The festival is part of the spa town's rich summer programming and helps promote the Plaine des Vosges far beyond departmental borders.
Les Bouteilles Folles returns to Parc Badenweiler in Vittel for a 12th edition that promises new rock discoveries and choice headliners. The lineup will be announced during the summer of 2026.
