Comedy and stand-up festival in a ski resort
Les Gets Comédie is a comedy festival that brings laughter to the heart of the Haute-Savoie mountains. Created in 2025, this winter event offers a week of stand-up and one-man-show performances at the Salle de la Colombière, in the resort of Les Gets, at an altitude of 1,172 meters at the gateway to the Portes du Soleil area. The alliance between skiing and laughter defines the identity of this festival, which hosts the most prominent comedians on the French scene and, a rare originality for a mountain comedy festival, an English-language evening with leading British comedians.
Launched in 2025, Les Gets Comédie was born from the desire of the Les Gets resort to offer an original winter cultural program, beyond skiing and mountain activities. The idea is simple but effective: to bring together the best comedians and stand-up artists from France for a week, at the end of January and the beginning of February, in the warm atmosphere of a Savoyard ski resort.
The Les Gets Comédie program is distinguished by its dual French-speaking and English-speaking identity. The French evenings feature established artists from the French stand-up scene, while a special English-language evening hosts renowned British comedians, reflecting the international clientele of the Les Gets resort.
For its 2nd edition, from January 29 to February 4, 2026, Les Gets Comédie has assembled an impressive lineup: Nino Arial, a revelation of French stand-up, Élodie Arnould, Pierre Thévenoux, Alexis Le Rossignol, Sofia Belabbes, Cécile Marx, Urbain, Julien Sonjon, and Édouard Deloignon on the French side. The English-language evening on January 30 featured Maisie Adam, Zoe Lyons, Jake Lambert, and Lou Sanders, four leading figures of British stand-up.
Nestled at an altitude of 1,172 meters, the resort of Les Gets is an authentic village resort that has preserved its Savoyard charm while offering direct access to the Portes du Soleil area. The Salle de la Colombière, which hosts the festival's performances, offers an intimate setting ideal for stand-up, with a capacity that fosters proximity between artists and the audience.
