Les Rayonnantes are one of the highlights of the Perpignan summer, offering every Friday evening from mid-July to early August large-scale free shows on the Basse, at Quai Vauban. In a unique setting, by the water and under the stars, nationally and internationally renowned artists perform for a enthusiastic family audience.
A high-caliber program
Les Rayonnantes stand out for the quality and diversity of their programming. In 2025, the public was able to discover various shows: the contemporary juggling and comedy show "The Atari show" by the company El Goma, the poetic circus "La Basse fait son Cirque" by the Duo de la fenêtre, as well as concerts by Chico & The Gypsies (gypsy music), Massbeat (electro funk), the Dancers of the Paris Opera (classical and contemporary dance), and Funky Soul Family by Gospel pour 100 voix (soul, jazz, and gospel).
An event rooted in Perpignan's identity
Les Rayonnantes are part of the cultural strategy of Perpignan la Rayonnante, allowing the city to shine nationally and internationally. The event highlights the city's historical heritage, particularly the Castillet illuminated by sound and light shows retracing the history of Perpignan from the Middle Ages to the present day.
A festive and family atmosphere
The atmosphere of Les Rayonnantes is both festive and relaxed. Families, tourists, and Perpignan residents gather from late afternoon on the banks of the Basse to enjoy the mild summer evenings. The shows start at 9:30 PM, offering a moment of cultural and artistic sharing in an enchanting setting.

Les Rayonnantes 2026: three weeks of free shows
For summer 2026, Les Rayonnantes are taking on a new dimension. From July 16th to 31st, the City of Perpignan now offers two evenings per week, on Thursdays and Fridays (instead of only Fridays in previous years), on a stage installed above the Basse, facing Quai Vauban. All shows are free.
An eclectic program
The opening on Thursday, July 16th is entrusted to the legendary Gipsy Kings led by Tonino Baliardo. The program then mixes world music, dance, and concerts: rumba with Cuban, Congolese, and Catalan influences, dancers from the Opéra de Paris accompanied by the Fabrica orchestra, Sinclair's pop, or a journey to India with the Bollywood Masala Orchestra. A Queen tribute band (Regina) is also on the bill.
The full program is currently being unveiled by the City of Perpignan.
