Lyrik'Ô Folies Festival

The inaugural edition of the Lyrik'Ô Folies festival will take place from March 2nd to March 27th, 2027, at the Opéra-Théâtre de Clermont-Ferrand. Hosted by Clermont Auvergne Opéra, the event features a variety of shows and workshops designed to make opera accessible and engaging for children, blending singing, dance, and visual arts to break down the elitist image often associated with the genre.

The program includes Diva Syndicat (dance and singing, ages 8+), imagOri (dance and opera singing inspired by origami, ages 4+), Rêveries lyriques (for ages 0 to 4), and Opera Fantasia (ages 6+). In addition to the performances, the festival offers opportunities to meet the artists, a parent-child origami workshop, and a screening of the film Ponyo.
