Every spring, the town of Massy (91300) transforms into a board game paradise for an afternoon. The Ludo Pinocchio game library, a passionate association located in the heart of the Saint-Exupéry district, organizes Massy en Jeu, an event dedicated to board games, open to all ages and free for participants.

An Afternoon of Games for Everyone

The festival takes place at the Espace Liberté in Massy, a spacious venue that hosts numerous game tables, allowing families, friends, and curious individuals to settle in and play. The selection of games covers a wide spectrum: classic games for the youngest, strategy games, card games, cooperative games, party games, and the latest releases for the more experienced.

The event runs from 2 PM to 6 PM, giving participants time to explore various games and try new titles with the help of the association's volunteers, who explain the rules and guide players through their games. It's also an opportunity for the curious to discover the game library and its services, available year-round.

The Presence of Game Creators

One of the unique features of Massy en Jeu is the participation of board game creators, who come to present and showcase their creations directly to the public. This interaction between designers and players is rare and valuable: it allows attendees to learn more about the game creation process, test prototypes or recently released games, and interact directly with the authors.

During the 2025 edition, 5 game creators were present, offering demonstrations and play sessions with the public. This format, unique to Massy en Jeu, is highly appreciated by both enthusiasts and newcomers.

A Jaipur Tournament Accessible to All

To spice up the day, a free tournament of Jaipur – the famous two-player card game – is offered starting at 3 PM. Accessible to players of all levels, this tournament is an opportunity to test one's skills against other participants in a friendly yet competitive atmosphere. Prizes are usually awarded to the winners.

Ludo Pinocchio, a Gaming Hub in Essonne

Ludo Pinocchio is an associative game library in Massy that offers games and toys suitable for all age groups throughout the year, from early childhood to adulthood. Its 100 m² space in the Saint-Exupéry district is a place for discovery and learning through play. Massy en Jeu is its flagship event, organized every spring to promote game culture within the city and the department.
