The blues comes to the Moselle countryside

Mécleuves Terre de Blues (MTB) is an international blues festival that has carved out a niche in the music scene of the Grand Est region since its creation in 2019. Located in the small village of Mécleuves, just 4 kilometers from Metz, the festival offers a rural and intimate setting to celebrate the blues in all its forms.

An international program

Artists from all over the world

Each edition brings together about ten concerts with artists from all backgrounds and nationalities. From Delta Blues to electric blues, from Chicago Blues to contemporary blues, the program covers the entire spectrum of this music born in the southern United States. The festival features both internationally renowned musicians and emerging talents, offering the public a rich and varied panorama of the global blues scene.

A festival for everyone

One of MTB's founding principles is to be resolutely non-elitist. The festival is aimed at both blues enthusiasts and the curious who wish to discover this music. The relaxed and friendly atmosphere, the human scale of the event, and the accessible prices contribute to making each edition a moment of sharing and musical discovery.

A weekend of music

The festival takes place over two days, on the first weekend of September, offering concerts in the open air and under a tent. The organization provides catering and relaxation areas, allowing spectators to fully enjoy the rural setting of Mécleuves while listening to quality blues.

Supported by local community life

MTB is organized by the MJC of Frontigny-Mécleuves, a youth and culture center deeply rooted in local life. The event mobilizes numerous volunteers and contributes to the cultural dynamism of the village and the Metz area. The festival benefits from the support of local and institutional partners who share the desire to offer a quality musical event in a rural area.

A growing festival

Since its first edition in 2019, MTB has experienced constant growth, both in terms of attendance and the quality of its programming. The festival has established itself as an essential blues event in Moselle and the Grand Est region, attracting a loyal and enthusiastic audience that returns each year to experience the unique weekend of blues in the heart of the Lorraine countryside.
