At the beginning of December, La Petite-Pierre hosts its Christmas Market in an intimate atmosphere unlike the large city markets of Alsace. Local artisans showcase their creations in a preserved setting:

• Handmade ceramics from Northern Alsace, perpetuating the pottery tradition of the Pays de Hanau
• Handmade Christmas decorations: wreaths, candles, wooden and glass ornaments
• Local products: honeys, jams, gingerbread, foie gras, and Alsatian wines
• Textile creations: scarves, gloves, and accessories made from Vosges wool

The New Year's Eve Market: Extending the Magic

A unique feature of La Petite-Pierre, the New Year's Eve Market takes place on December 26th and 27th, extending the Christmas magic after the holidays. This special event allows visitors to browse stalls of artisans in the multi-purpose hall and cultural center, from 11 am to 6 pm. The refreshment stand offers mulled wine, bredele, and Alsatian specialties in a friendly atmosphere.

The Charm of a Fortified Village

La Petite-Pierre, classified as a "station verte de vacances" (green holiday resort), offers more than just a market. Visitors can explore the castle which houses the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park House, wander through the picturesque streets, and enjoy the surrounding forest trails. The Springerle Museum, dedicated to Alsatian cookie molds, adds a unique cultural touch to the visit.
