Geek Culture Takes Over Metz

In just a few years, the Metz'torii convention has become the unmissable event for fans of pop culture, manga, video games, and imaginary universes in the Grand Est region of France. Every spring, the Parc des Expositions de Metz Métropole transforms into a huge temple of geek culture, welcoming over 23,000 visitors for two days in a festive and colorful atmosphere.

Over 10,000 m² of Activities

The convention spans over 10,000 m² divided into several thematic areas. Visitors can navigate between the different zones according to their interests, creating their own path within this veritable ephemeral geek city.

Video Game Zone

Over 2,000 m² are dedicated to video games, with retro gaming areas offering vintage consoles, arcade machines, virtual reality stations, and video game competitions. The latest releases are showcased alongside classics from the 1980s and 1990s, offering a comprehensive panorama of video game history.

Cosplay Contest

The cosplay contest is one of the highlights of Metz'torii. Dozens of cosplayers compete with creativity and talent to recreate the costumes of their favorite characters from manga, anime, video games, comics, or cinema. The level of detail and execution of the costumes presented makes this contest one of the most accomplished in the region.

Guests and Meet-and-Greets

Each edition hosts distinguished guests: Japanese mangakas, comic illustrators, French voice actors, YouTubers, and specialized content creators. Autograph sessions, round tables, and conferences allow fans to meet their favorite artists and creators in a relaxed atmosphere.

A Diverse Commercial Space

Over 200 sales stands offer a vast and specialized commercial selection: figurines, manga, comics, clothing, accessories, collectibles, artworks, handmade creations inspired by geek universes, and many other products. Visitors can find rare items and exclusive products not available in stores.

Workshops and Shows

Creative workshops led by professionals allow visitors to learn manga drawing, prop making (cosplay accessories), Japanese calligraphy, or other artistic techniques. Shows and stage performances punctuate the two days, creating a dynamic and immersive atmosphere.
