About Monta'Music
Monta'Music — edition 2026
The Monta'Music festival returns to Montamisé on August 21st and 22nd, 2026 for its 11th edition, two evenings of open-air concerts with free admission. On the program: an eclectic lineup mixing rock, electro, reggae, French chanson, jazz, and world music, featuring local and national talents such as The Celtic Social Club, Jive Me, The Roots Ark, or Spelim.
2026 Edition — 11th Edition
For its 11th edition, Monta'Music takes over the streets and squares of Montamisé on Friday, August 21st and Saturday, August 22nd, 2026, from 6:30 PM until the end of the night. True to its founding spirit, the festival remains entirely free (voluntary contribution) and champions a deliberately eclectic program: jazz, rock, electro, reggae, French chanson, world music, and fusion follow one another on the village stages.
Created in 2015 by Montamisé residents passionate about music, the festival mobilizes around a hundred volunteers and showcases both local artists and national headliners. A campsite is available at the Puits de la Vallée roundabout, and several food trucks as well as bars complete the event.

Monta'Music: the village in music
Since 2015, the Monta'Music festival has transformed the town center of Montamisé, near Poitiers, into a vast open-air stage every late summer. Born from the desire of a handful of music-loving residents, this free summer event has become, in just a few editions, a must-see in the cultural life of northern Vienne.
A festival rooted in its territory
Monta'Music's originality lies in its location in the very heart of the village. Stages are scattered throughout the streets, squares, and public spaces of Montamisé, creating a musical trail that invites festival-goers to wander and discover diverse sound worlds. From noon to midnight, concerts follow one another in a relaxed and family-friendly atmosphere, far from the large stage setups of urban festivals.
All styles, all talents
True to its motto of "festival of all music," Monta'Music rejects the headliner system to favor artistic diversity and discovery. Rock, reggae, swing, traditional Celtic music, electro, French chanson, and world music: each edition offers an eclectic program that showcases emerging artists and local bands. In 2025, the festival will notably feature The Celtic Social Club, Jive Me, The Roots Ark, Ema Yazurlo, Spelim, Ma Petite, Cassien, Oscar Fou, Harun, Loki Caminantes, Varius Funkus, and Teacher Jekill.
An event driven by volunteers
Monta'Music is organized by the association Festival Monta'Music, run by a committee of about ten enthusiasts and supported by nearly a hundred volunteers from the town and surrounding areas. This collective mobilization ensures a warm welcome, local catering, and a truly village atmosphere that is the event's main charm.
Free and friendly
Entirely free since its creation, Monta'Music embodies a vision of culture accessible to all. Families, music lovers, and the curious mingle in a barrier-free atmosphere, where music becomes an excuse for sharing and meeting. The festival thus contributes to the influence of Montamisé and the cultural dynamism of the Poitiers urban area.
