About Music Festival in Athis-Mons
Every June 21, Athis-Mons celebrates the Fête de la Musique (Music Festival): amateur musicians, music school students, and local bands perform for free throughout the town, with a highlight usually set at the open-air amphitheater of Parc d'Avaucourt. Organized by the City of Athis-Mons, the evening is completely free and open to everyone.

As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the town of Athis-Mons, in Essonne, into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, from the afternoon until the heart of the night, in all genres and for all audiences.

Usually, the Athis-Mons event takes place at the open-air amphitheater of Parc d'Avaucourt, where local bands, ensembles from the Conservatoire de l'Essonne, and town music associations perform one after another.
