Six free stages from Jardin Kennedy to Port de commerce on June 21, 2026
Every June 21, Brest celebrates the Fête de la Musique: from Jardin Kennedy to Port de commerce, music takes over the city center on several open-air stages, with concerts from noon until late evening. Organized by Brest métropole and its partner cultural structures, the day is entirely free and combines contemporary music, jazz, world music, electro, and amateur performances.
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Brest into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, from midday until the heart of the night, in all genres and for all audiences.
In Brest, music spreads across several locations in the city center, from Jardin Kennedy to Port de commerce, with musical offerings from noon until evening. In the evening, several thematic stages supported by Brest's cultural actors take over: contemporary music, jazz and improvised music, electro, world music, and conservatory practices.
