About Fenêtres Ouvertes

Since 2020, the Théâtre du Grain has brought Fenêtres Ouvertes to the vibrant neighborhoods of Brest. This traveling festival hosts a festive artistic gathering in a different neighborhood every Friday evening throughout the summer. Expect a mix of concerts, performances, town criers, street characters, and parades—all held outdoors and completely free of charge, in partnership with local community centers and neighborhood houses that host each stop.

Fenêtres Ouvertes — edition 2026

The 7th edition of Fenêtres Ouvertes spans eight evenings between June 26 and September 11, 2026, with each event hosted in a different Brest neighborhood: Lambézellec, Bellevue, Queliverzan, Kerbernard, Keredern, Valy-Hir, Pontanezen, and finally Kerangoff. The Théâtre du Grain brings its signature ritual to the streets: an open-air, free-to-attend mix of concerts, performances, town criers, and parades.

Each event takes place outdoors in public spaces within the host neighborhood, running from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Admission is free and open to everyone. The location changes every Friday; the specific dates and neighborhoods for upcoming stops are announced by the Théâtre du Grain and their partner community centers (Kerangoff, Pen Ar Créach, Keredern, Pontanezen, Bellevue, Maison Pour Tous du Valy-Hir, and the Maison de quartier de Lambézellec).
