About I·C·E Festival

Every year, the I·C·E Festival brings together artists and local residents in the Pays de Morlaix to explore contemporary creative expression. Theatre, dance, music, visual arts, cinema, and literature converge in hybrid formats, often specifically designed for unconventional spaces. Founded by artist Patricia Allio, the I·C·E association has been organizing the event in Saint-Jean-du-Doigt since 2016, with programming now extending to Brest and Plougasnou. The festival champions linguistic, political, sexual, and gender minorities, and each edition is preceded by residencies where artists collaborate directly with the local community.

I·C·E Festival — edition 2026

For its 11th edition, the I·C·E Festival explores how we can find refuge and craft new narratives in a damaged world. Four artists in residence—Elsa Amsallem, Ife Day, Camilla Graff Junior, and Réjean Peytavin—will present performances, exhibitions, and a forest-based show across Saint-Jean-du-Doigt, Brest, and Plougasnou. The festival's name is now written as "I·C·E," with the interpuncts serving as a deliberate gesture toward inclusive language.
