About Music Festival in Bruay-la-Buissière
Every June 21, Bruay-la-Buissière celebrates the Fête de la Musique with a big free open-air evening, traditionally organized at Place Marmottan. Supported by the City of Bruay-la-Buissière, this edition annually brings together several thousand spectators around variety artists and young talents, in a popular and festive atmosphere marking the beginning of summer.
The Fête de la Musique in Bruay-la-Buissière
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Bruay-la-Buissière into an open-air stage every June 21. Unlike a simple street animation, the mining town of Pas-de-Calais has made it one of its major summer events: the City usually programs a big evening of free concerts open to all at Place Marmottan, which attracts a large audience from the surroundings of Béthune and the former mining basin.

Over the editions, Bruay-la-Buissière has welcomed national headliners of variety and song to this stage, alongside rising young artists. The evening is entirely free, with food and drink available on site, in a family-friendly and convivial atmosphere.
