Every June 21st, Le Chesnay-Rocquencourt celebrates the Fête de la Musique: concerts, DJs, and entertainment freely take over public spaces, notably avenue Dutartre and plaine Saint-Antoine. Organized by the City of Le Chesnay-Rocquencourt, in the Yvelines, the day is entirely free and open to everyone, from the youngest to families.

As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the commune of Le Chesnay-Rocquencourt into an open-air stage every June 21st. Music freely takes over the streets and squares of this Yvelines town, from the market to residential areas, in a friendly and family atmosphere.

Usually, the festival unfolds in several locations within the commune: avenue Dutartre and plaine Saint-Antoine host the highlight of the evening, with a DJ, inflatable structures and games for children, as well as on-site catering. The day traditionally opens at the marché des Deux-Frères and continues in the city's residences and cultural facilities, supported by local associations and the music school.
