About Music Festival in Mont-de-Marsan
Every June 21st, Mont-de-Marsan celebrates the Fête de la Musique: amateur groups, local artists, and visiting musicians perform in the streets, squares, and parks to offer the people of Mont-de-Marsan a festive, eclectic, and entirely free evening. The city center becomes pedestrianized, and several stages are set up, from the town hall square to the terraces of cafes.
The Fête de la Musique in Mont-de-Marsan
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the prefecture of Landes into an open-air stage every June 21st. Music freely takes over public spaces, in all genres and for all audiences, from early evening until late into the night.
A celebration in the city center
To allow all musicians who wish to improvise a spontaneous concert, the streets of the city center are made pedestrian from 6 PM. A stage is set up on the town hall square, where several associations and dance schools perform successively from 5:30 PM. Saint-Roch and Charles-de-Gaulle squares, as well as Molière street, are enlivened by concerts organized by cafe owners, while the city's music venues and halls complete the program.

The Fête de la Musique 2026 in Mont-de-Marsan takes place on Sunday, June 21st, free of charge in the city center. A stage is set up in Place de la mairie from 5:30 PM, the city center streets become pedestrian at 6 PM, and concerts by café owners, dance schools, and local groups liven up the squares until late in the evening.

Three local bands, free and open to all: Joker Skunks (heavy punk), Mantra (introspective metal), and Por Que No ? (rock, covers and original compositions).
Chapelle de Lesbarzeilles — 4 PM
Concert by the Ensemble Vocal du Marsan.
Other concerts by cafés, associations, and amateur musicians complete this program throughout the city center.
