As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Montgeron, in Essonne, into an open-air stage every June 21st. Music freely takes over public spaces and several locations in the town, from the afternoon until late evening, in all genres and for all ages.

For the 2026 edition, the City of Montgeron, local associations, the conservatory, and local establishments are partnering to offer a friendly and festive evening. The forecourt of the Carré d'Art hosts the main public highlights with a giant karaoke followed by an interactive show around a giant piano.
