The Fête de la Musique in Sèvres
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Sèvres into an open-air stage every June 21st. Music freely takes over public spaces in the evening, in all genres and for all audiences, from early evening until the heart of the night.
A festival spread across three downtown squares
For the 2026 edition, the City of Sèvres deploys three stages in the heart of the commune: the city hall forecourt, Place Pierre-Brossolette, and Place du Théâtre. Spectators can move freely from one stage to another throughout the evening. Several downtown establishments, such as La Manufacture and Mahlee, extend the festive atmosphere with their own musical entertainment.
The festival is part of a month in Sèvres dedicated to music: from June 13 to 20, the media library offers a music week combining listening sessions, instrument presentations, and mini-concerts from the Conservatory and the high school, while on Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27, the Les Aiguilleurs festival will conclude the festivities at the musical space Le 111.
