Free open-air concerts on June 21, 2026, at Parc Richard Pouille and throughout the city
Every June 21, Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy celebrates the Fête de la Musique: open-air concerts, music school ensembles, and free entertainment take over Parc Richard Pouille, the streets, and the city's terraces. An entirely free day that marks the beginning of summer in the second largest commune of Meurthe-et-Moselle.
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy into an open-air stage every June 21. Music freely takes over public spaces, with concerts from afternoon until evening, in a family-friendly and convivial atmosphere.
Parc Richard Pouille hosts the highlight of the 2026 edition. On Sunday, June 21 at 2 PM, several ensembles from the École de Musique de Vandœuvre, composed of young instrumentalists and adults, will perform outdoors for a musical moment open to all. The day before, the park will already be lively with « Vandœuvre en fête »: sports activities, inflatable structures, on-site catering, and concerts, extending the Fête de la Musique festivities.
Beyond the park, the Médiathèque Jules Verne and several cultural venues, bars, and terraces in the city participate in the celebration by offering free concerts. Amateurs and local groups share public spaces across all musical genres, for a day dedicated to music for everyone.
The Fête de la Musique 2026 in Vandœuvre-lès-Nancy takes place on Sunday, June 21st, free of charge throughout the city. Richard Pouille Park hosts the day's highlight with open-air performances by the ensembles of the École de Musique de Vandœuvre, complemented by concerts at the media library, bars, and terraces.
