The Fête de la Musique in Vélizy-Villacoublay
As everywhere in France since 1982, the Fête de la Musique transforms the city of Vélizy-Villacoublay into an open-air stage every June 21. On the occasion of the first day of summer, music freely takes over public spaces and brings together residents, families, and enthusiasts of all styles.

Each year, the City sets up several stages distributed in different neighborhoods of Vélizy-Villacoublay. Amateur musicians and local groups, who apply in advance to the commune's youth service, are welcomed and assigned according to their technical needs and availability, to offer a varied program throughout the day.
