Jazz, blues, groove and world music festival in Brézolles
Music Ô Patio is a jazz, blues, groove and world music festival organized in Brézolles, in the heart of the Pays de Dreux in Eure-et-Loir. Created in 2023 by the association Brezolles en Jazz and labeled by the Réseau Spedidam, this three-day festival offers a dozen concerts, several of which are free, alternating on two outdoor stages. The program mixes international headliners and emerging artists in a family and intergenerational atmosphere, extending the success of the Music en Avre festival which attracted over 4,000 spectators in 2019.
Born in 2023 from the passion of the association Brezolles en Jazz, the Music Ô Patio festival has quickly found its place in the musical landscape of the Pays de Dreux. Labeled by the Réseau Spedidam, this summer event offers a three-day immersion into the worlds of jazz, blues, groove, song, and world music, in the heart of the charming town of Brézolles in Eure-et-Loir.
From its very first edition, Music Ô Patio has shown its ambitions with a top-tier program. Twelve concerts over three days, including six free access, allowed the public to discover internationally renowned artists alongside emerging talents. Among the headliners, we were able to applaud Youn Sun Nah, Sanseverino, Sixun, the Belmondo Deadjazz project, Sandra Nkake, Sly Johnson, and Géraldine Laurent. The diversity of genres—jazz, blues, groove, song, world—is the richness and identity of the festival.
The festival is organized around two outdoor stages that alternate performances throughout the day and evening. This setup allows the public to move from one concert to another without interruption, in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. A festival village complements the setup with bars, food trucks, relaxation areas, and local artisan stalls, making Music Ô Patio a true ephemeral living space.
Music Ô Patio stands out for its committed programming choices. The festival notably dedicates one day to an exclusively female lineup, highlighting four musicians from various styles. This initiative, led by artistic director Pierrette Devineau, demonstrates a desire for openness and representation in the world of jazz and contemporary music.
Music Ô Patio continues the legacy of the Music en Avre festival, which attracted over 4,000 spectators in 2019 in Saint-Lubin-des-Joncherets. By settling in Brézolles, the festival strengthens the cultural attractiveness of the Thymerais region and contributes to the promotion of the territory, while offering accessible prices to encourage diverse audiences.
