About Paris Jazz Festival
Paris Jazz Festival — edition 2026
The 31st edition of the Paris Jazz Festival returns to the Parc Floral de Paris for nine free open-air concerts, from June 28 to September 6, 2026. This edition honors international figures such as Chilean saxophonist Melissa Aldana, the cult acid jazz project Kyoto Jazz Massive (returning after 15 years for its 30th career anniversary), violist Salomé Gasselin, and Antillean drummer Arnaud Dolmen with his project Poets of Forest.
31st Edition — Summer 2026
The Paris Jazz Festival returns for its 31st edition at the Parc Floral de Paris, in the Bois de Vincennes. From June 28 to September 6, 2026, nine free concerts will punctuate the Parisian summer on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, generally at 4:00 PM (sometimes two concerts on the same day for the opening).
A Panoramic Program
The 2026 edition outlines a journey through global contemporary jazz: Caribbean jazz and hybrid creations with Poets of Forest (Arnaud Dolmen, Jowee Omicil, Michel Alibo), intimate Chilean saxophone with Melissa Aldana presenting her new album of ballads Filin, contemporary vocal jazz with Swiss Lea Maria Fries and Cameroonian-French Célia Kameni, viola da gamba revisited by Salomé Gasselin, East Asian jazz with the project of AMG and Tomoki Sanders (son of the legendary Pharoah Sanders). The festival concludes on September 6 with a major event: the return of the Okino brothers, founders of the cult Japanese acid jazz collective Kyoto Jazz Massive, after a 15-year absence from France, to celebrate their 30th career anniversary with the Echoes Of A New Dawn Orchestra and British singer Vanessa Freeman.
The Parc Floral Festival
The Paris Jazz Festival is part of the summer program of the Parc Floral Festivals, alongside Classique au Vert (classical music) and Les Pestacles (young audience). All concerts are free once park admission is paid (2.50 €).

The Paris Jazz Festival: thirty years of open-air jazz at the Parc Floral
Since 1994, the Paris Jazz Festival has transformed the large lawn of the Parc Floral de Paris into an open-air jazz stage every summer. Nestled in the heart of the Bois de Vincennes, in the 12th arrondissement, this free festival has become a must-attend event for jazz lovers, attracting between 80,000 and 100,000 spectators each season over six to eight weekends.
An exceptional green setting
The festival's setting is unique: the stage is set up in the Deltaplane, an open-air space nestled within the thematic gardens of the Parc Floral. Spectators settle on the lawn, among flowerbeds and majestic trees, to enjoy concerts that generally take place on Saturday and Sunday afternoons, from approximately 3 PM to 6 PM. The natural acoustics of the place, the light filtered by the foliage, and the picnic atmosphere give the Paris Jazz Festival a bucolic and relaxed ambiance, a world away from traditional concert halls.
A demanding and eclectic program
The festival's program embraces the full diversity of contemporary jazz. Each weekend is built around a theme or a geographical area: European jazz, African jazz, Caribbean jazz, jazz fusion, improvised music, vocal jazz, or tributes to the great figures of the genre. International renowned artists such as Dee Dee Bridgewater, Avishai Cohen, Erik Truffaz, Manu Katché, Airelle Besson, or Rhoda Scott have graced the Parc Floral stage, alongside emerging young talents from the French and international scene.
The festival places great importance on creation and discovery, regularly programming French premieres and original projects. This artistic ambition, combined with the free admission to concerts, makes the Paris Jazz Festival a powerful tool for cultural democratization.
A festival rooted in its territory
Programmed and funded by the City of Paris as part of its summer cultural policy, the Paris Jazz Festival contributes to the animation of the Parc Floral, a municipal botanical garden ranked among the most beautiful gardens in France. It is part of a trio of summer festivals at the Parc Floral, alongside Classique au Vert (classical music) and Pestacles (for young audiences), thus offering continuous musical programming from June to September.
