Pentecôtavic: The Gascon Fair
Pentecôtavic is one of the most anticipated festive events in the Southwest of France. Every year around the Pentecost weekend, Vic-Fezensac transforms into a huge fair combining bullfighting tradition, music, and Gascon conviviality.
Landes Races and Bullfights
The fair offers no less than 6 bullfighting shows in the Joseph Fourniol arena. Novilladas, bullfights, and Landes races attract aficionados from all over the region. The best 'écarteurs' and 'sauteurs' perform in the arena for shows combining courage and elegance.
Concerts and Bandas
Nearly 10 free concerts and 250 banda musicians liven up the town for four days. The streets of Vic-Fezensac resonate with brass and percussion, creating a permanent festive atmosphere. Recognized artists perform on open-air stages.
An Event for Everyone
Pentecôtavic is also a family event. A rugby sevens tournament, a Sevillian dance, an art circuit with 14 exhibition venues, and bullfighting games for everyone complete the program. The theme changes every year, bringing a touch of creativity to the fair.
