Jazz in the park, free and open

Pépinière en Fête is the free, open-air component of the prestigious Nancy Jazz Pulsations (NJP) festival, one of the largest jazz and contemporary music festivals in France, founded in 1973. Every autumn, for two weeks in October, Nancy's Parc de la Pépinière transforms into a huge festive space where music, live arts, and conviviality come together, all with free access.

A musical village in the park

The park hosts multiple stages and performance spaces spread throughout its paths and clearings: the Scène Mobile, the Campagn'Art, the Chapiteau de la Pépinière, the Magic, the Scène du Fond du Parc, the Grande Allée de la Pépinière, the Roseraie, and the Parvis du Théâtre. This multitude of venues creates a true musical village where the public can wander freely from one concert to another.

An eclectic program

The Pépinière en Fête program reflects the musical diversity of Nancy Jazz Pulsations: jazz in all its forms, world music, French chanson, contemporary music, brass bands, and experimental ensembles perform on the various stages. A typical day can feature over twenty shows from morning to night.

Young audience shows

Pépinière en Fête places a significant emphasis on the young audience with musical shows, workshops, and activities specially designed for children and families. Educational concerts offered by the Grand Nancy music schools allow young musicians to perform on stage in a prestigious setting.

The Parc de la Pépinière
