About Perche en Rock

Perche en Rock is an amplified music festival held annually in Perche-en-Nocé, in the Orne department, at the heart of the Perche Regional Natural Park. Created in 2022, the event takes over the Boistier farm in Préaux-du-Perche for two days of rock, indie, and contemporary music concerts. The demanding and coherent programming highlights emerging and established bands in a rural setting that prioritizes sound quality, proximity between artists and the audience, and a friendly, intimate atmosphere far from standardized large festivals.

5th Edition — The Festival's Fifth Anniversary, June 26 and 27, 2026

For its fifth anniversary, Perche en Rock returns to the Boistier farm on Friday, June 26 and Saturday, June 27, 2026 with a special anniversary program. The festival remains true to its spirit: a human-sized capacity, a demanding and coherent artistic direction, and proximity between artists and audience in a rural setting.

The 2026 program highlights amplified music in all its diversity — psychedelic rock, electro-rock, post/doom, alternative metal, stoner, chanson — with emerging and established acts. Several artists are making a return to the Boistier stage, such as Grandma's Ashes, back three years after their last appearance, and Mélanie Lesage (from the band Damantra, programmed in 2024) in a solo format.

Beyond the concerts, this edition offers shows, live graffiti, a craft market, wooden games, and various activities, as well as local and organic food.

Rock settles in Perche

Born in 2022, the Perche en Rock festival has quickly established itself as a must-attend event for amplified music in Normandy. Located at the ferme du Boistier, in the municipality of Préaux-du-Perche (Perche-en-Nocé), the event focuses on a curated program mixing rock, indie, post-punk, garage, and experimental music, in a spirit of discovery and sharing.

Demanding programming

Each edition brings together about ten bands over two days with complementary styles. The artistic direction favors coherence over abundance, allowing each act to express itself fully to an attentive audience. Artists like Full Moon Little House have marked past editions with their sensitive and immersive approach, between carefully crafted compositions and worked atmospheres.

An intimate format

Unlike large open-air festivals, Perche en Rock cultivates proximity. The deliberately limited capacity allows for direct interaction between musicians and festival-goers, in the spirit of clubs and alternative scenes. This philosophy is reflected in the very organization of the event, driven by a team of enthusiasts rooted in the territory.

An exceptional natural setting

The Boistier farm offers a remarkable rural setting, between the hedgerows and hills of Perche. The site is ideally suited for a human-scale festival where music resonates in a preserved environment. Festival-goers enjoy the Norman countryside while discovering current and bold sounds.

Catering and conviviality

On-site, local catering stands and a bar offer products from the Perche region. The relaxed and warm atmosphere makes each edition a moment of sharing around music and Norman gastronomy.

A committed festival

Perche en Rock is part of an eco-responsible approach, with particular attention paid to waste management, short supply chains for catering, and limiting the event's environmental footprint. The festival also contributes to the cultural dynamism of Perche by attracting an audience from all over Normandy and beyond.
