Craft Beer Celebration

Every May, the town of Poligny, world-renowned as the capital of Comté, celebrates another Jura passion: craft beer. Over eighteen editions, the Poligny Beer Festival has become the unmissable event for craft beer lovers in the Jura and Franche-Comté regions.

Artisanal Brewers to Discover

Each edition brings together artisanal brewers-producers from the Jura, Franche-Comté, and neighboring regions. In 2025, 26 breweries are participating in the event, including 7 new ones:

• Jura Breweries: Artisanal breweries from the department showcase their creations, from light lagers to complex stouts and hoppy IPAs.
• Franche-Comté Breweries: Brewers from Doubs, Haute-Saône, and Territoire de Belfort complete the offering.
• Guest Breweries: Brewers from neighboring regions bring their diversity and specialties.

Concerts and Entertainment

The Beer Festival is more than just tastings. The musical program sets the rhythm for the day and evening:

• DJ Cynight: Musical opening at 3 PM to accompany the first tastings.
• Baloo's Brothers: Festive and energetic Celtic rock at 4:30 PM.
• Black Ice: AC/DC tribute band at 6:30 PM, for a rock crescendo.
• Abbahit: ABBA tribute at 9 PM, to dance to the immortal hits of the Swedish group.
• DJ Tonym: Festive closing at 11 PM.

Best Beer Competition

A highlight of the festival, the best beer competition pits participating brewers against each other in the IPA (India Pale Ale) category. The awards ceremony takes place at 8:20 PM, recognizing the skill and creativity of the region's artisanal brewers.

Free Tastings

To allow everyone to discover the diversity of craft beers, free tastings (4 cl samples) are offered from opening until 4 PM. Afterwards, visitors can purchase tokens to continue their tastings throughout the evening.
