177th edition of the Prix de Diane Longines, on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at the Hippodrome de Chantilly. Ten gallop races, including the mythical 3-year-old fillies' race over 2,100 meters (exceptional prize money of one million euros), amidst an elegance contest, a chic picnic by Ladurée, free entertainment, and a concert. More than 30,000 spectators expected.

The 2026 Prix de Diane Longines — the chicest garden party of the year

On Sunday, June 14, 2026, the Hippodrome de Chantilly hosts the 177th edition of the Prix de Diane Longines, one of the great classics of French horse racing and the most glamorous equestrian event of the year. In the heart of the Chantilly estate, set against the backdrop of the château and its park, the world's fastest 3-year-old fillies compete on the legendary 2,100-meter track to win the most coveted Group I race in the discipline.

But the Prix de Diane is also—and significantly—about the French art of living: a large village with free activities in the heart of the racecourse, the famous elegance contest, chic picnics on the lawns, and a grand DJ set at the end of the day. Gates open at 11:00 AM and close at 9:30 PM, with over 30,000 visitors expected for this day, which will be broadcast live on M6 and Equidia.

A day of both prestigious racing and popular celebration

Nine races take place throughout the day, from 1:32 PM to 6:37 PM, with the highlight being the Prix de Diane Longines at 4:05 PM, following the presentation of the fillies in the parade ring at 3:50 PM. The program is not limited to the headline race: the Grand Handicap de Lamorlaye Longines (3:20 PM) serves as the Quinté+ event, the Prix Pawneese Longines is a 2,400 m Listed race, and two Group III races round out the afternoon: the Prix Bertrand du Breuil Longines on the mile (6:03 PM) and the Prix du Lys Longines over 2,400 m (6:37 PM).

The Village de Diane: the beating heart of the day

The Village de Diane, located in the center of the racecourse, is the epicenter of the festivities and is free to access all day. It features a vintage Ferris wheel with stunning views of the Château de Chantilly, a carousel, pony rides, outdoor and traditional wooden games, a ball pit, Le Kiosque and its swings, a food court, and the Gourmet Garden with its refined picnics by Ladurée. Three ten-minute equestrian shows highlight the early afternoon at 1:00 PM, 1:40 PM, and 2:15 PM.

The Concours d'Élégance

An iconic tradition of the Prix de Diane, the Concours d'Élégance rewards the most creative outfits and hats in two categories: the most elegant lady in a hat and the most elegant duo. Registration is free and takes place on-site until 2:00 PM; finalists parade at 3:25 PM on the Village de Diane catwalk, and the winner is awarded the title of Mademoiselle Diane Longines.

The Folies de Diane

A private trackside area with an electro-chic vibe, the Folies de Diane offers a more relaxed atmosphere for young adults: prime views of the races, entertainment between events, and a grand DJ set starting at 6:45 PM, followed by a dance after-party until the site closes at 9:30 PM.
